  • The inrun performance monitoring is really nice, as is the feedback to help keep your pace right.
  • It doesn't look that great, the GPS takes an age before you can begin and some of the features need refining
  • It's a really nice first stab at this from TomTom. Once they clean the Runner up a little bit, it's going to be good. For now, though, it's not quite ready....

  • TomTom’s latest foray into wearable hardware is an impressive one: the TomTom Runner is easy on the eye, just 11.5mm thick, comfortable to wear and even waterproof up to a depth of 10 metres. While TomTom’s claim that you use just one button to control is a tad disingenuous - it’s effectively a directional pad, like you’d find on any console gamepad - it is easy to control, even while you’re legg

  • Comfortable, plenty of options, open platform support for services like RunKeeper, good enough battery life, as a watch it's great
  • Need a computer (no app connection), need to connect every three days, no real control over historical activities, doesn't use screen real-estate to the fullest, needs a docking station to charge and connect, TomTom MySports is poor, limitations to Race m
  • For every feature we don't like about the TomTom Runner there is another feature we do. For everything TomTom has presumably learnt from its hand in the Nike+ SportsWatch, however, it also seems to have unlearnt something else. Which is really frust...
