  • Responsive touchscreen interface, Bright, sharp 3.0" widescreen LCD, Classic Sony T-series styling, Unbelievably thin and light, Good build quality, Very good intelligent auto mode, Amazing ability to avoid flash in iAUTO mode, 720p HD video
  • A few cheap bits (zoom rocker switch), Poor battery life, Oversaturated colors, Heavy noise processing, No HDMI interface or cable included in box, Not that cheap...
  • A very refined all-around digicam that forever will change your opinion of what you can achieve with "set and forget" point and shoots. The iAUTO intelligent automatic shooting function really works well, and no other compact camera is as successful as...

  • If you're in the market for a compact point-and-shoot digital camera, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 definitely deserves to be on your short list, if it's within your budget. It's a bit pricey, but performance is best in class. Low-light operation is bett...

  • Sweep Panorama is a model implementation; well-implemented and easy-to-use touchscreen UI; stylish design.
  • Small shutter button and fragile zoom switch; can't change shooting modes quickly.
  • The holiday season is here, as are the accompanying parties and celebratory events. If you're all gussied up, you might as well bring a camera like Sony's fashion-conscious, 10.2-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC TX1, a touchscreen camera that lets you par...

  • Well designed; several fun, useful features; improved touch-screen interface.
  • Mixed photo quality.
  • The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 is a first-rate ultracompact party companion that excels at snapshots, but those expecting superb photo quality for its price should pass on it. Read full review See all prices

  • The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 joins the small but growing list of compact cameras that are concentrating on image quality rather than simply increasing the megapixel count, and largely delivers on its promise. But a steep price-tag (particularly in the...

  • Abstract:  If I had to choose I wouldn't hesitate a second and jump over to the TX1 for its great design and ultra compact size. Granted the TX1 offers slightly less impressive (but not much) photos than the WX1, on other hand it offers an outstanding ratio size performance that will make you forget everything else.
