  • Galaxy S8's excellent design gets even better, Screen, performance & battery all solid, Camera capable of impressive low-light performance, Price is competitive
  • Intelligent Scan trades security for convenience, Super Slow-mo is 720p only and needs bright lighting, Bixby still feels gimmicky
  • The prevailing question for potential Galaxy S9 buyers is “has Samsung done enough to warrant an upgrade over the Galaxy S8?” The answer to that depends on where your priorities lie.So much of the Galaxy S8 look and feel has been carried over to this new...

  • The Infinity Display is even better than the one on the S8, Camera takes fantastic pics in all kinds of light, Fingerprint sensor is in a much better location
  • Camera features like Dual Aperture and Super Slow-mo are a little gimmicky, AR Emoji is fun but not as advanced as Apple's Animoji, The single camera is great, but the S9+'s dual camera would have been better
  • The Galaxy S9 is an evolution rather than a revolution, but Samsung has upgraded it in all the right places...

  • Dual Aperture effective in low light, Excellent cameras overall, Speedy performance, Long-lasting battery
  • Not a major improvement over last generation
  • I had hoped that, after exhaustively going over all the ways the S9 is new, I'd find the updates here to be more significant. But I still don't. The new camera features aren't must-haves unless you plan on shooting in darkness a lot, and you can get basic...

  • An absolutely brilliant screen - the best on any smartphone out there. Amazing brightness, colors, and viewing angles, The fingerprint scanner is back in a location where it won't give you constant frustration. Good job, Samsung, The Galaxy S9+ feels pret
  • I mean, this should be obvious - the Galaxy S9 looks kind of fragile. There's a lot of glass on this phone. Use a case, Even with Project Treble, Samsung still avoids committing to a period of Android OS updates, let alone timely ones, for its flagship ha
  • The nice thing about the Galaxy S9 and S9+ is that they hold very few mysteries. Go back to our review of the S8 twins last year, and the majority of what you'll read there applies here. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ were great phones, and the S9 and S9+ are bett...

  • Abstract:  Samsung and Apple. Apple (AAPL) and Samsung. Every year the tech behemoths play the same tit for tat game with their flagship smartphones: the Galaxy S series and iPhone. But with their handsets coming closer and closer to parity, the companies are turnin...

  • Abstract:  Galaxy S9 and S9+ reviews are officially out, and they're mostly positive. The consensus is that Samsung's latest smartphones are iterative but improved versions of its already-impressive Galaxy S8 devices. We've linked a handful of the reviews below...

  • Abstract:  It's never easy to quantify the latest flagship smartphone from a company like Samsung… because no matter how disappointing or dazzling it turns out to be, the latest Galaxy will always sell like gangbusters. Part of that is thanks to Samsung's incredibl...

  • Best screen available today, Every hardware feature you want, Standout camera that's easy to use, Good speakers and headphone jack, Top-notch internal specs, Available worldwide unlocked and from carriers
  • Software can be overwhelming, Just average battery life, Small GS9 lacks secondary camera, GS9+ is very expensive
  • It's become increasingly clear to me that the Galaxy S line of phones is no longer exciting, at least from the standpoint of those who strive to see the latest and greatest technology. They are, instead, becoming the new standard Android phone by which al...

  • Abstract:  Lets not beat around the bush, the exterior of the Samsung Galaxy S9 is essentially a carbon copy of the S8. Yet, even with all that sameness, Samsungs balanced no-notch design seems more considered than before. It doesnt feel needy like a lot of the n...

  • Abstract:  Up to 400GBUp to 400GBThe Galaxy S9 and S9+ look like dead ringers for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, and I’m not complaining. Samsung says it made the bezels on the Infinity Display a bit narrower on the top and bottom while making the iris scanner above the sc...
