  • Stuffed full of power
  • It isn't the super sexy MacBook Air slayer you might have hoped for
  • The Samsung Series 9 is packing more power than any other Windows ultra portable, and it does so in an attractive looking shell. That said, the £1299 pricetag is something you need to give a long hard think about. If size and reasonable (rather than max...

  • Abstract:  Thinner, lighter than AirThe 900X3A, also known as the Series 9, is nearly identical in size to the 13inch MacBook Air. It's ever so slightly thinner and lighter, but you'd never notice it unless you came armed with calipers and scales.First impressions a...

  • Overall, we can't help feeling that the Samsung promises more than it delivers. It's also more than £200 more expensive than the equivalent MacBook Air, so while the Samsung is well-matched with Apple's contender, it doesn't do enough to beat it. ...

  • Gorgeous design, Smooth performance, Long battery life, Ace screen and keyboard
  • You may have to take the kids out of private school to afford it
  • It's hugely expensive, so it's obviously not going to appeal to everyone. But if you've been lusting after a Windows alternative to the MacBook Air, the series 9 has both the lust factor and performance to warrant the high asking price....

  • Matte panel, Nice design and finish, Good CPU performance, Battery life 5h15
  • Poor colour accuracy, Low gaming capacity, Very reduced interface connectivity
  • While it's more powerful than the MacBook Air, it suffers from the same faults, namely limited connectivity and very low capacity in games. It is nevertheless a light, well finished, low quality model that'll make an excellent alternative for those who...

  • Sandy bridge tech, Slender and gorgeous body, Beautiful screen to finish.
  • Touchpads with integrated buttons, 128GB of storage is stingy

  • A great example of how Intel's new processors let manufacturers build powerful and slim laptops, but it's expensive and not quite as well built as the MacBook Air. ...

  • Abstract:  Samsung takes on Apple at its own game, but the Series 9’s slender physique comes at a serious cost In the world of high-end ultraportables, few Windows laptops can rival Apple’s MacBook Air. It’s an exclusive club: Sony's VAIO Z Series and Dell’s now ...
