  • The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini brings a strong feature set for a midrange phone, including Android 4.2, a dual-core processor, and an 8-megapixel camera. The Sprint version has excellent call quality
  • The Galaxy S4 Mini has only 8GB of internal storage, and mediocre front-facing camera quality. Data was slow on Sprint's network
  • Its reliable specs and availability on four carriers make the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini an easy-to-find midtier buy, but you should also compare the S4 Mini with its substantial competition....

  • Ample performance, Bright, RGB Display, Comfortable one handed use, Sufficient speaker volume, Excellent battery life, Solid LTE performance, Reliable camera, Android 4.2.2
  • No notification light, Gallery has latency issues, Plastic back is slippery, Small text lacks smoothness, Home screen customisation is awkward, Smaller keyboard is tricky for big fingers
  • At $379 you can buy an LTE variant of the S4 Mini and pop in a prepaid sim (that's how I'd do it) or grab one on a carrier subsidised plan starting at around $50 per month but with only 200MB of data. Outright is the way to do it if you want to get great ...

  • Tens of millions of iPhone users worldwide suggest there is a market for phones with smaller displays, and while the Galaxy S4 Mini has a screen slightly larger than the iPhone, it should appeal in much the same way; to people who think the 5-inch phones...

  • Compact size and weight, Reasonable specifications, Most familiar Samsung features
  • Lower screen resolution, Only 8GB internal memory
  • The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is another variant of the wildly successful Galaxy S4. It's basically a smaller, cut down version of that model, and it will shortly be available in Australia...

  • However, in normal use we felt the HTC One Mini had the edge for smoothness when scrolling through the app tray, and especially when browsing web pages. Despite its impressive JavaScript benchmark result, when browsing complicated web pages such as...

  • Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is a good phone. It is definitely not outstanding, but for its price it is certainly worth considering. We feel its design is better than its actual performance, which can sometimes lag and be buggy, but not enough to put...

  • Abstract:  It's now a habit for smartphone makers to launch a mini version of flagship devices and Samsung has announced a Galaxy S5 mini smartphone which is smaller and cheaper than the flagship Galaxy S5 . But how does it compare to its predecessor, the Galaxy S4 ...

  • Abstract:  The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini looks and feels a great deal smaller as the S4 (as you would no doubt expect). It has a 4.3-inch screen (which is still bigger than any of the iPhones as well as the S3 Mini!) and weighs just 107g. This means that the device is ...
