  • When cases come through our labs as frequently as they do here at HardwareLogic, it is hard to declare a definite champion in certain classes of enclosures. The Antec Nine Hundred began the rout early on in the mid-ATX realm with a case that was immens...

  • Abstract:  The Tempest is a hit and miss for looks, but for functionality, ease of build and price point the tempest has quite a bit going for it. It is easily superior to the Case Nine Hundred having more room, better cooling, the ability to install a dual fan r...

  • Very well made and designed, Sturdy construction, Very quiet, Looks cool, Keeps system cool, Easy to install system, Lots of room inside, Removable HDD cages, Lots of room for hard drives or 5 1/4” devices, eSATA connector on front I/O panel
  • Top I/O ports can be out of reach depending where case is, Heavy, Hard to access HDDs when system is installed
  • The NZXT Tempest is an excellent case overall with great attention to quality, design and functionality. With its six 120mm fans youd expect it to be loud but it isnt, its pleasantly quiet and yet keeps your system and its components nice and cool...

  • Overall, I was extremely impressed by what was offered by the NZXT Tempest. It seems like a fairly simple notion; lots of fans, and a simple, uncluttered design to deliver maximum airflow. In this respect, it succeeds. It also offers quite a bit of dr...

  • Plenty of room; eight screwless hard drive bays, lots of cooling; pretty lights.
  • Fan speeds not customizeable. Not exactly the most innovative case we've ever seen.

  • Lots of fans, airflow-enhancement features; eSATA port on the front panel; tool-less drive implementation
  • Wont support advanced video-card setups; unusual power-supply layout not ideal for everyone; no front-panel FireWire port
  • Aptly named, NZXTs Tempest gaming case aims to transform your desktops interior into a wind tunnel, and it succeeds— at a remarkably low price. ...

  • Great cooling performance, Eight HDD bays, Very high build quality
  • Expensive (at time of review)
  • With the Tempest being NZXTs debut here on Overclockers Online, I expect it to be a rising name in the industry. The build quality on all parts of the case is excellent, and with a superior packaging method, it is very evident NZXT aims for the design...

  • The NZXT Tempest Midtower Case is definitely one nice looking case. This is something that NZXT tends to excel at. Whether you are looking for an enclosure to make your computer look something out of a mecha anime series, or something that looks good...
