  • It is expensive, A little overclock ‘out of the box' wouldn't have hurt, right?, leading third party cooling systems from Nvidia partners are quieter and run cooler.
  • In the last couple of months I feel like I have reviewed almost every custom GTX970 and GTX980 available on the market. It is becoming difficult for me to take a fresh approach to every review at this stage. Regular readers will already know that most of ...

  • Abstract:  The GM204 GPU (which lies behind both the 980 and the 970) is the culmination of a process that started many months ago, with the GTX 750 Ti. As an overall package, we didn't really rate the 750 Ti. While it generated a very impressive amount of speed giv...

  • Abstract:  Chip giant nVidia has made quite a splash recently with its double-launch of the 'Maxwell' GTX 970 and GTX 980 graphics cards . While the 980's price will put off all but the most dedicated of gamers, the GTX 970 commands a price at around the £300 mark, ...

  • Abstract:  Today, Nvidia introduces the GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970, two new high-end cards of the Maxwell generation. The GeForce GTX 750 and 750 Ti , which were introduced a few months ago, also belong to this generation. We extensively tested both new cards on ...

  • Abstract:  Nvidia introduced its newest graphics architecture, code-named Maxwell, about seven months ago in the mid-range GeForce GTX 750 and 750 Ti. While those cards don't deliver the high performance of a flagship gaming rig, they introduce unheard of energy eff...

  • Plenty of you probably saw this coming but let’s make it official: pairing up two GTX 970’s, even in their so-called reference forms, is a surprisingly affordable solution for anyone who wants extremely high framerates and the ability to push 4K content. ...
