  • Titan Xlike performance at a fraction of the price and less power usage. Perfect for 60fps 1440p gaming.
  • We still don't think the premium for Nvidia's Founders Edition card is worth it if you can hang tight for board partners.

  • TDP and power draw is almost unbelievable at 150W for such a high-performance GPU, using only one 8-pin PCIe cable; in contrast the Fury X requires two 8-pin cables, Overclockability is very good so far – GPU Boost 3.0 works with the Precision X overcloc
  • If you are buying a top performing video card right now and looking for the highest performance at a really good price, the GTX 1070 is the only choice since the GTX 1080 is much more expensive. We would like to award the Founder's Edition of the GTX 1070...

  • The best GPU for 4K gaming we've yet seen, Stunning FPS performance in all major resolutions, Excellent power efficiency, Decent temperature control, Quite card, low noise even under load, Pascal architecture is stunning, GDDR5X memory is superb
  • Pointlessly overpriced “Founder's Edition” release first, SLI for three or more cards needs special unlocking, Still no consistent full detail 4K gaming at 60FPS
  • What else can we say about the GTX 1080 except that it's stunning. Nvidia has truly outdone itself with this graphics card and nothing we've yet seen from either the same brand or AMD comes close in terms of overall performance at all major resolutions...

  • Looking at the bigger picture, as the first vendor to launch their 16nm/14nm flagship card, NVIDIA will get to enjoy the first mover's advantage both with respect to setting performance expectations and with pricing. The GeForce GTX 1080 will keep the per...

  • The new GTX 1080 graphics card delivers a large step up in performance from previous GPUs, including the Titan X card. Starting at an aggressive $599 ($699 as reviewed), the 1080 card is capable of delivering smoking frame rates (even in 4K), and the upco...

  • In a word, breathless.Normally a new GPU means a decent enough improvement over the previous generation, but not necessarily enough to be worthy of an upgrade if you have only just brought one. With the GTX 1080 it's so mind-blowingly powerful that we thi...
