  • Abstract:  With the usual candy bar with rounded corners style of appearance, the Moto G4 Play has dimensions of 144.4 x 72 x 9,9mm (H x W x D), making it slightly smaller than the basic Moto G4 model, and weighs 137g. Dominating the front of the handset is a 5.0 in...

  • The Moto G4 Play, like the other G-series phones, operates with a value-first mindset. If you're looking for the most phone for the least amount of money, you'll have a hard time finding a better deal than this. While it's easy to think that this phone is...

  • Motorola's Moto G4 Play is the most affordable phone in the G4 line. It's splash-resistant, comes loaded with a near stock version of Android 6.0, has great battery life and can be used on any major carrier in the US
  • The G4 Play lags when playing games and taking panoramic photos. The display can be hard to read in direct sunlight and you won't be able to customize the phone using Motorola's Moto Maker website
  • If you're on the hunt for an affordable phone with pretty long battery life, the Motorola Moto G4 Play deserves your attention. But the regular Moto G4 gives you even better features for just a little more cash...

  • Compact, Almost stock Android
  • Occasional stutters in performance, No Moto features, Camera quality is subpar, Cheap, generic look
  • For $180, last year's Moto G offered an ergonomic design, IPX7 waterproof rating, Moto Maker, and Moto Actions, It didn't feel like a budget device, bar the occasional performance hiccup. You might have expected the new Moto G4 Play to continue on this pa...

  • Sturdy build, Good ergonomics
  • Sub-par camera, Compromised battery
  • The Moto G4 Play is not the most exciting smartphone around. Instead, it delivers reasonably decent performance for its price, along with standard battery life and good ergonomics. However, everything considered, the Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime and Lenovo Vibe...
