  • Improved interface; better networking; UAC has been tamed; faster than Vista,
  • Suggested retail price is high; Homegroups don’t work with XP or Vista computers (or Linux or Mac)
  • The latest version of Windows is everything Vista should have been: smart, simple and fast...

  • Performance, Usability, Libraries bringing together all your scattered files and folders, Streaming media that really works
  • Bitlocker disc encryption only available in Ultimate edition, Device Stages currently only work with a limited number of products, Third-party apps and utilities can slow Windows down
  • Vista was a bit of a faux-pas but Windows 7 is the best Windows so far

  • Boots quickly, Should run well on netbooks and older PCs, Jump lists and Aero Snap are brilliant new features, Lots of improvements for business users
  • New taskbar scheme isn’t for everyone, Some useful apps are not included by default
  • Device SupportDrivers: Most current hardware should work on Windows 7 without a hitch, since there are no major changes to the device driver model like Vista had. That means upgraders won’t face the same headaches that they did last time. In fact mo...
