  • By now, you’re surely familiar with Nokia’s Lumia range and the clean design language that comes with the name, and that continues with the 1520. It’s the same curved design that we’ve grown to know and love since the Lumia 800 first made its debut in 2011, only it’s been given the super-sized treatment and simply towers over the rest of the range. The 1080p HD display measures up at a potentiall
  • The Nokia Lumia is big, but it’s not unwieldy. You’ll look a bit daft holding it to your head to make calls, but if you Snapchat and WhatsApp more than you ring, it’s not a problem. What is however, is that Nokia and Microsoft have done little to convince us there’s a need for a screen this size. Samsung’s Galaxy Note phones offer a brilliantly thought out stylus as well as the ability to run two
  • The Nokia Lumia 1520 is as good a phablet as Windows Phone could ever offer, make no mistake. On the shop shelf, it’s a far more attractive option than the banal plastic Galaxy Note 3, but as ever, it’s let down by Microsoft’s software, which offers no...

  • Great screen, Super fast processor, Solid build quality, All mod cons
  • Large size, Lacks OS features to justify 6in screen
  • Bigger isn't necessarily better, and the Nokia Lumia 1520 proves this to some extent, although there are certainly many positive aspects here. This phablet has an excellent display, slick performance, and offers Microsoft Office integration on a potentia...

  • Full HD screen, Extra space for more Live Tiles, Fast, powerful processor, Great 20-megapixel camera, MicroSD card support, Great battery life
  • Size will be too large for many, Stereo speakers would be nice, Windows Phone may be a turn off
  • The Lumia 1520 is the best Windows Phone we've ever reviewed. The only things holding it back are its large size, which will alienate many buyers, and WP8 itself. It's a fitting end to Nokia's phone legacy: fantastic hardware that would sell far better ...

  • The camera's really fun, the screen's impressive and the battery life will not let you down.
  • It's too big to use with one hand and too heavy as well. The camera's automatic and video modes need work too
  • We've never accused a phone of being too big before but this one really is. The screen and camera are great but the trade-off doesn't quite match up....

  • Abstract:  A smartphone and a tablet . The biggest Windows Phone to date. Here's our Nokia Lumia 1520 video review. If you're in denial about 'phablets' then take a look at the Lumia 1520. With a 6in screen the handset has one inch on most flagship smartphone and ...

  • Design and body, Amazing screen, Nokia HERE maps, Video function, Battery life, MicroSD card slot
  • Interface needs more functions that fully exploit the large display, Still photos: inaccurate colours and slow autofocus
  • With its well-designed body, superb 6" display, exemplary responsiveness and long battery life, Nokia's first phablet is no less than one of the best Windows Phones to date, a good buy if ever there was one. But when it comes to the symbiosis between a bi...
