  • Innovative, Unique Design, Could Make Steve Jobs Jealous, Near-silent operation (relative to competitors), Excellent Performance, Asetek 550LC Cooler
  • Overclocked Temperatures, Easier On The Eyes Than The Wallet, Was Not Delivered By Complimentary Sherpa
  • We really like the SHIFT. MainGear deserves top honors for taking the risk of building a non-standard chassis and for delivering real benefits as opposed to slick marketing drivel. The case is fully compatible with all standard PC peripherals with just a...

  • Hasslefree upgrades, Clever case design. Eyeballrupturing speed on games. Doubles as a media center powerhouse.
  • Confusing orientation makes cable clutter a bigger eyesore than usual. No matter how you slice it, seven thousand smackers is a lot for a PC.

  • Record-shattering performance; uncompromising design, build
  • Stratospheric pricing in our test configuration; large; heavy
  • It topped $7,000 in our test configuration, but this over-the-top hyper-PC is a true tech showpiece—and its superior custom case is available even in its $2,199 base model. ...
