  • Inexpensive; easy to use; generally speedy performance for its class
  • Slow photo prints; feels flimsy
  • The Z1420 packs much better performance and print quality than youd expect from a printer this inexpensive. ...

  • Wireless-ready; fast prints; inexpensive.
  • Print quality needs a lot of improvement; bundled software has weird limitations.
  • With its built-in wireless capability, the Lexmark Z1420 looks like a bargain until you see the prints it outputs. If you value print quality, look elsewhere. Price range: $44.21 - $87.99

  • Abstract:  It prints without wires! Eventually. Cheap wireless printing, with big compromises. The Z1420 is the cheapest wireless printer currently available, which is not to be sniffed at if you like to wander around your home or office with your WiFi laptop...

  • Uncomplicated setup, Good print quality and speed
  • No ad-hoc connectivity, Flimsy paper tray
  • While many users are used to having their laptops connected to a wireless router, the most common way to add a printer is via a cable to the network. The Lexmark Z1420 (£50 inc. VAT) does away with this by incorporating 802.11g into the printer itself....

  • Although the Lexmark Z1420 Wi-Fi printer is inexpensive and easy to use, we are surprised at the lack of such features as PictBridge support and memory card slots. Even if some of the Wi-Fi facilities are being used, we still suspect many a user will ...

  • Abstract:  Wireless adaptors for inkjet printers have traditionally been expensive extras, but Lexmark doesnt believe this should be the case. Its new range of inkjets aims at the home printing market by introducing wireless as standard. The Z1420 costs just ...
