  • Low price, Builtin fax and automatic document feed
  • Slow photo printing, Mediocre overall print quality

  • Abstract:  Inkjet printer/copier/scanners are everywhere. But the crowd starts to thin when you add fax capability to your wish list, thins more when you specify an automatic document feeder for multipage copying and faxing, and gets sparse when you also insist o...

  • Built-in color fax; inexpensive; automatic document feeder; included media card reader.
  • Must swap cartridges for photo printing; no individual ink cartridges; no preview LCD; software is inflexible; slow; lines appear in some images.
  • The Lexmark X5470 is an easy-to-use printer made for budget conscious users. But its lack of advanced controls, low-resolution scans, and sluggish print speeds will have the wealthier, pickier printer shopper looking elsewhere.

  • Inexpensive; nice range of features; built-in memory card slots and PictBridge port; fast text prints; decent scan quality; built-in ADF.
  • Poor to mediocre print quality; slow copy speed; very limited paper handling options.
  • The Lexmark X5470 offers loads of features and respectable print speeds at a low price, but its print quality leaves a lot to be desired. You can find a similarly priced all-in-one that offers better print quality. Price range: $69.63 - $108.99

  • Abstract:  Inkjet all-in-one machines are definitely beginning to take over from inkjet printers as the main consumer printing device. For very little more money, you have all the extra functionality of scanning and copying. Lexmark has a range of all-in-ones to sui...

  • Abstract:  Cheap to buy and run, the X5470 is great for mono printing, but less so for photos and images.

  • Quick printing of both black-and-white and colour prints. Striking visual design. Comes with a USB cable.
  • Prone to paper jams if heavily loaded. No LCD screen for previewing photo card prints.
  • The X5470 is an attractive looking printer with an attractive set of features at an attractive price point. That should make it an attractive prospect for most small home offices and home users.
