Records bright, sharp 720p video at 60 fps, Compact, water-resistant design, Comes with an HDMI cable, Improved software now ships onboard camcorder
Weak battery life, Zoom looks jerky on-screen, No flip-out USB connector, Bundled software runs only on PCs
Kodak’s weather-resistant Zx1 is the sleekest pocket camcorder we’ve seen lately. And the size, video quality, and $149 price tag will be a good match for some people. However, if budget permits and you don’t mind carrying a larger devic...
We liked the variety of shooting options on the ZX1 and its compact yet durable design. We would’ve liked to have seen more onboard memory or the provision of at least a modest SD Card in the box, however. And while the footage we took looked good, we...

Relatively rugged, attractive design; captures video at 720p HD resolution; decent video; memory-card expansion slot; runs off AA batteries; bundled HDMI cable; zippier performance.
No memory card; batteries dont recharge via USB connector; software isnt Mac compatible; poor connectivity.

Fiddly controls, could do with a better zoom, slow to start up
