  • MateDock 2 docking station included in box, impressive GPU performance for the size, large keyboard keys and trackpad, faster than the MateBook X Pro, silent during low-medium loads, high quality 3:2 touchscreen, normal webcam placement
  • right USB-C port does not support AC adapter charging, moderate-heavy uneven backlight bleeding, cannot recharge and game simultaneously, keys could be firmer; shallow travel, high-pitched fans when gaming, limited to 8 GB of soldered RAM, extremely limi

  • Compact design, Faster file transfer, Competitive price
  • Underwhelming battery life, Limited ports
  • The Matebook 13 doesn't reinvent the wheel but if you manage your expectations accordingly, you'll probably come away happy with it...

  • Core i7 Intel Processor, Dedicated NVIDIA GPU,
  • Gets a little warm

  • While it's tempting to call the Matebook 13 a thin-and-light PC, the combination of the discrete GPU and Intel's latest Whiskey Lake chip help the Matebook 13 punch well above its weight class. Because of this, the lack of at least one Thunderbolt port fe...

  • Full Intel Core processing, Discrete Nvidia graphics, Webcam now on top, Excellent value
  • Relatively low memory, No Thunderbolt 3
  • Having clearly watched from the sidelines for years, Huawei latest has exactly the kind of sensibility we've wanted from a luxury laptop. The Huawei MateBook 13 does what any flagship laptop can do – and more – for the same price or even less. For that, t...

  • Excellent value, Solid performance, Attractive design and display
  • Trackpad feels cheap, Difficult to find the top-spec model, Lacking in ports and Thunderbolt 3
  • Huawei could have done more with the MateBook 13, say by offering a better port selection and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, or using a design language that doesn't scream Apple. But Huawei played it safe instead, creating a laptop that's the sum of its part...

  • compact and nicely crafted, good 3:2 highres IPS touchscreen, fast keyboard and reliable clickpad, modern hardware configuration and solid performance once tweaked, competent thermal module, both with daily use and with games, well priced
  • on the heavy side for its class, limited IO, without TB3 or a fullsize cardreader, only available with a maximum of 8 GB of RAM, small 41.7 Wh battery, akwardly placed and fairly poor speakers
  • Huawei's Matebook 13 offers a unique set of traits and features in a competitively priced bundle. Its main selling points are the 3:2 high-resolution touchscreen, the compact form-factor, the competent hardware implementation and thermal module, as well a...

  • The one-touch power button has a fingerprint reader embeded in it, making it quicker to start up and login to your PC, It's very quick to recharge, and a 15-minute charge will give you two and a half hours of power, There's plenty of storage space for all
  • The screen suffers from glare in bright light and fingerprint marks
  • A stylish laptop that's fast but still lightweight and small enough to carry around with you every day. It's expensive, but worth every penny in our eyes...

  • Great Touchscreen display, Snappy processor, Clever Huawei Share feature
  • Terrible battery life, Limited USBC ports
  • Despite its great touchscreen and features, it's hard to ignore a shocking battery and confusingly limited set of USB-C ports...

  • Fast, Unique cooling system, Stunning display
  • Unoriginal design, Huawei Ecosystem
  • As much as we love the battery, the super fan cooled processors and the display, the best feature on the Matebook 13, is actually a reason not to go for it - Huawei Share is great, but it only works on Huawei devices...
