  • Strong design, Improved battery, Genuine care taken on camera
  • Doesn't sit well in hand, Lacks standout innovation
  • It's a hard phone to rate on first impressions – HTC has put all the right bits in here, but I felt the same way with the One M9. However, the brand seems to have addressed the foibles and appears genuinely excited by the new 10...

  • There's no denying that the HTC 10 is a huge improvement on last year's M9. Not only has it improved on all the M9's weaknesses, such as its screen quality, battery life and camera performance, but it's also got all the right looks to go head to head with...

  • HTC has gone to great trouble to correct the weaknesses highlighted by reviewers of its past few handsets, and the results are really impressive. The HTC 10 is a great-looking handset with a superb screen, great performance and good – if not great – batte...

  • I won't lie to you. The first time I clapped eyes on this phone I wasn't massively impressed. It doesn't scream out with its own identity, and the chamfered edges feel a little too thick. The stripping back of Sense to allow Google more room to roam about...

  • I'll always be a fan of the way that HTC puts its phones together, because it simply doesn't seem to compromise on build quality or effort. Despite not being totally in love with the heft of the device, or the massive chamfered edges, there's no doubt it
  • There's not actually a lot to dislike on the HTC 10 – the keyboard, for instance, isn't the best any more, but that can be upgraded easily by downloading one of the many great free options on Google Play, I'm not in love with the shape of the phone, as I'
  • The HTC 10: a phone that promised so much but only partly delivers. As you can see above, I can't really criticise it too much as it's hit the marks that a top smartphone should: loads of power, upgraded battery, improved camera and changed design. And tha...

  • Abstract:  Boasting the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, ably backed up by 4GB of RAM, a 5.2-inch QHD display, 3000 mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0 charger, HTC's 10 has a stunning UltraPixel camera with 12 megapixels resolution and a selfie-camera. OIS an...

  • The Pixel XL and HTC 10 are made from the same DNA and for that reason, putting one over the other is a somewhat tricky task. The two phones are fairly evenly matched in most departments, and when one does get a leg up it's only by the slightest of margins...

  • Abstract:  THE PIXEL and Pixel XL mark the first time Google has taken the design, engineering and testing wholly in house. If we didn't know better we'd wager there's an HTC A9 inside. After all, HTC did build the thing. Bearing these similarities in mind, how doe...
