  • HP has a number of very useful accessories for its ElitePad. We covered many of them, but left out things like an adapter for connecting the tablet to a VGA or HDMI display, and the Expansion jacket is available without battery as well (H4J85AA). When y...

  • A wellbuilt machine that will withstand a few knocks; IT management and security tools; Lots of accessories
  • Modest performance from Atom chip and 32bit software; Lack of ports without accessories; High price
  • For the price, other tablets may offer more value and productivity. If your IT department insists on having a Windows 8 tablet, the Dell Latitude looks a better bet....

  • Solid construction; good battery life; Computrace and HP Client Security tools
  • Modest performance; few I/O ports; integrated battery
  • HP's ElitePad 900 is a semi-rugged Windows tablet optimised for the corporate environment, with includes security and management tools. Its lack of I/O ports may make this tablet less attractive than some comparable devices unless buyers also invest in a ...

  • Abstract:  A square slate, all black Gorilla Glass on the front and silver aluminum on the back, the HP ElitePad 900 is a stylish Windows 8 tablet . The bezel is wide and the corners rounded. Edges taper to a point that is almost sharp to the touch. See our full HP ...

  • Enterprise ready accessories, Simple design, Full size HDMI on Expansion Jacket
  • No ports on tablet chassis itself, MicroSD and SIM slot access is fiddly, Limited multimedia capabilities
  • And that last point pretty much sums things up here. If your business is committed to HP services and products through contracts, then the HP ElitePad 900 is a very good Windows 8 tablet for the SMB though enterprise organisation. However, if you're wi...

  • Overall, HP seems to have developed a sturdy offering both in terms of the ElitePad's physical form and its security software bundle, but appearances can be deceptive. The Sim and micro SD card slots proved troublesome and, as I type, I'm still waiting f...

  • The HP ElitePad 900 is a well-built and nicely designed Windows 8 tablet aimed at business users. It's no great performer, although battery life is decent. If you need an extremely portable Windows PC for around £600, you could do a lot worse. But you may...

  • Abstract:  Windows 8 on a tablet is an interesting prospect for business users. Both HP and Dell have come out with business-oriented tablets, and today we will be taking a closer look at the Dell Latitude 10 and the HP ElitePad 900. Both of these business tablets...

  • Overall, we're impressed by the ElitePad 900 – it's a well built tablet which allow you to add connectivity using the unique jackets. As with all business tablets you'll get the full working version of Windows 8 and HP is also hoping that it can attrac...

  • Thin and light, Feels good to hold, Heaps of options
  • Lacks built-in USB and video out, Low screen resolution, Optional extras can add significantly to the overall cost
  • The slim and light nature of the ElitePad 900 makes it a comfortable mobile device to use for long periods of time and we think it's a great device to choose if these are your main criteria. Furthermore, because it's an Atom-based unit, it doesn't get war...
