  • Abstract:  Few video games are based on a movie that’s over 25 years old, but that’s no bad thing when the movie in question is Ghostbusters, one of the most iconic films of the 1980s, and the game reunites all the key cast members from the movie.Ghostbusters: Th...

  • Abstract:  Most people who grew up in the 80’s, like myself, we’re big fans of Ghostbusters and appreciated just how good they were as films which so rightly gave them the cult status they deserved. For years there has been talk of a Ghostbusters 3 movie and FINAL...

  • Judged simply as a game, Ghostbusters is too linear, too dumb and too rough around the edges to be recommended, but as a new take on the Ghostbusters world it's practically unmissable. While it could be better, it's a fine example of how a licensed game s...

  • The first hour or two of the game is good. Recreates the vibe of the movies. Capturing ghosts is fun and makes you really feel like a Ghostbuster. Some fun extras if youre a fan. Nice environments. Some genuinely creepy sections.
  • Not quite as good as the movies. Bill Murray clearly wasnt trying that hard. Too many mechanics that make the game just another third-person shooter. Graphics arent very good. If youre not a Ghostbusters fan, there really isnt any reason to play this.

  • Abstract:  25 years ago, almost to the day, the movie "Ghostbusters" was released in the US. It was pretty seriously successful, as you no doubt know, and has spawned more than a few videogames in the intervening years. Computers and consoles of the day, however,...
