  • Excellent build quality, Budget price tag, Nicely customisable
  • Iffy thumb buttons, DPI switch button
  • Button problems aside, the MX780 is a solid debut for G.Skill as a mouse maker.

  • "If this is what G.Skill can do with a first attempt, we can't wait to see what they do next."...

  • Our first impression is that this mouse, while very stylish and unique in what this package offers, it is a bit on the small side. This will work out perfect for people with small hands or claw grip users with larger hands, but if you play with a relaxed...

  • In this test of 37 models there are only a few mice that left us with the thought 'you definitely do not want to purchase that one'. There are a lot of similarities, but there are also some models that stand out or simply perform slightly better than the...

  • Overall, I couldn't recommend the mouse personally. I found both the mouse and the accompanying software a frustrating experience, and the mouse lacks a few features and careful considerations that would otherwise make it an enjoyable gaming device. My fa...

  • Good gaminggrade laser sensor (Avago A9800), Great customisation with finger grips, palm rest height, Solid build quality, openplan design looks different, Weights and cable head protector are nice additions, Works for left and right handed gamers
  • Lighting is not true RGB – green looks like blue, yellows are tinged, DPI switch is too big and light, easily pressed by accident, Software could do with some usability tweaks.
  • The G.Skill MX780 is not the best mouse in the world, but for its price it is a great jack of all trades with some of the highest levels of customisation available. It is comfortable, accurate and great to game with over long periods. It does not have too...

  • Includes swappable side grips, Adjustable weight and height, Aggressive gamer design, Ambidextrous, RGB lighting
  • Unstable base, Not so great for claw grip, Temperamental software, Questionable mouse wheel integrity
  • As debuts go, G.SKILL had a big vision and have created a solid mouse packed with the many features gamers will love. You can adjust the weight, the height of the rear, the side grips and lighting effects. The metal frame houses tried and tested, good qua...

  • Excellent build quality, Exceptional sensor performance, Very competitive price, Customisable ergonomics, Left and Right hand suitable, Weight tuning system, RGB lighting,
  • Limited availability in UK, “G.Skill may be new to the peripherals market, but the MX780 is proof that they’ve got what it takes to take on the biggest names in the business. The MX780 is one of the best value and featured packed gaming mice on the market
  • PriceAt the time of writing, I struggled to find an accurate retail price in the UK, although I saw some as “out of stock” in the region of £40. I did, however, find the G.Skill Ripjaws MX780 mouse in stock at Newegg.com in the US, with a retail price of...

  • Abstract:  Are you a memory manufacturer in need of diversification? Then consider gaming peripherals as a next logical step. A number of big-name purveyors of PC memory have already made the transition - with good degrees of success, we might add - and G.Skill is n...
