  • Fitbit Alta does not offer much new in terms of functionalities, compared to the older Fitbit products. It does not have a built-in GPS and a heart rate sensor too. What it does offer, however, is a sleeker, slimmer, and adaptive design for those who a...

  • The FitBit Alta is a very attractive activity tracker that is perfect for giving you additional incentives to keep fit and healthy. It's very easy to use, setup is almost non-existent and best of all, it tracks your steps and health 24×7. The interface is...

  • Striking design, Customizable, Platform agnostic, Weeklong battery life
  • Nonresponsive touchscreen, Not waterproof, Pretty limited offering overall
  • Fitbit's Alta has it where it counts, namely the killer week-long battery life, customizable styles, and the solid Fitbit companion app as a backbone. But there are a few frustrating design choices that keep this from being a "must-have."...

  • The Fitbit Alta is a stylish fitness tracker with swappable bands, basic phone notifications and week-long battery life. The new "Move" alerts bring something new. Fitbit's software is still one of our favorites, and has the largest social base as well
  • There's no heart-rate sensor, and it can't be worn in the shower. The tracker is expensive for what it can do and so are the accessory straps. The display is difficult to see outdoors and is susceptible to scratches, and notifications are hard to read
  • While ultimately a more stylish (but heart-rate free) version of the older Charge HR, the Fitbit Alta is a winning fitness tracker with solid style appeal...

  • There's a reason the Flex is one of the most popular fitness trackers on the market, and Fitbit has pulled off a tricky balancing act here by simultaneously resisting the temptation to reinvent the wheel while adding in a handful of useful extras. The Alt...

  • Abstract:  Fitness trackers, which are also called activity trackers, activity monitors or fitness bands, are like high-tech pedometers that can count your steps and then estimate the distance you've travelled and the calories you've burned. The biggest activity b...

  • Abstract:  Do a search for Fitbit on Amazon, and you’re presented with a huge amount of choice. Even if you discount all the skins and third-party trackers piggybacking off the brand name, there are no less than 11 Fitbits vying for attention. How do you pick betwe...
