  • fits in tighter gaps, cleans better on each run, makes a more pleasant noise, better edge cleaning, easy maintenance, good app, simple scheduling
  • can't get under as much furniture, expensive, cannot be your only vacuum, requires internet access for most features beyond pushbutton cleaning, can get stuck like all robot vacuums
  • The Dyson 360 Eye is the best performing robot vacuum available. It's simply better at cleaning than all the others, but it also has its downsides. It can't get under as many things as a Roomba, it still bumps into thin things and it still can't clean eve...

  • Abstract:  Dyson has been working on a robot vacuum for nearly two decades. The Dyson 360 Eye (MSRP $999) is the result of all that research and testing, and it's finally on sale in the U.S. That means it's time to cut through the marketing hype and put the 360 Eye...

  • Dyson's 360 Eye robot vacuum systematically maps out floors, has a simple companion app for remote access, and is powerful enough to collect a lot of unwanted dirt and grime
  • It costs $999/£800 and didn't perform as well as the similarly app-enabled $700 Neato Botvac Connected or the $900 iRobot Roomba 980
  • The 360 Eye by Dyson is a very good robot vacuum, but competitors offer similar features and better performance for less...

  • It really does clean well, sucking up loads of dust and dirt from carpets, far more than any competing robot vacuum cleaner. It's enough to take a good chunk of the vacuuming load off of your hands,
  • I may well be an isolated case, but the app simply has too many problems to recommend. And though it's a thorough cleaner in action, it takes a very long time to do the job, so isn't best suited for switching on while you're also indoors. A spot cleaning
  • Having read other critics' reviews of the Dyson 360 Eye, it seems few have had quite as testing a time with the app as I have had. If my experience proves to be an unlucky fluke, I'd be able to recommend the robot vacuum cleaner more whole heartedly. As it...

  • As this is Dyson, the Eye 360 certainly isn't cheap. At £800, it's very expensive, particularly as you'll still need a regular vacuum cleaner (see the Expert Reviews guide to the best vacuum cleaners to buy) to finish off the bits the 360 Eye didn't manage...

  • Great cleaning for a robot, Small footprint
  • Navigation isn't class leading, Feels overpriced, No spot cleaning mode

  • Powerful cleaner, small enough to get into tight spaces, accompanying app makes for easy setup, future software updates get automatically added, day scheduling
  • Height means it won't fit under every thing (like low radiators), you'll need to remember to empty the dust bin, no way to restricting to a room unless you close the door
  • Some 16-years in the making, Dyson has concentrated on making a robotic vacuum cleaner that is a cleaner first and a robot second. But for all its good the 360 Eye is pricey. Its £799 asking price is more than most other robo-vacs. However, it's ma...

  • Unrivalled cleaning power, Seriously smart navigation, It's got frickin' tank tracks
  • Expensive, You've still got to clean around it
  • It takes a bit of work to get the best of out the Dyson 360 Eye. You'll have to set up its dock just right, remove any substantial chunks of debris from its cleaning area and are best off out of your home when it's on the move. Oh, and don't forget you'll...

  • Fantastic 'fire and forget' vacuum, Powerful and picks up plenty of dust, A great time saver
  • Incredibly expensive

  • Outstanding cleaning, Methodical navigation, Small footprint, Discreet dock
  • Too tall for some furniture, Can't control cleaning zones, Spotty app reliability
  • Dyson 360 Eye – Performance This is where the 360 Eye truly shines. It's the first robot vacuum cleaner to use the cyclone technology for which Dyson is famous. And while it uses one of Dyson's older "digital motors" – the 360 Eye has a V2 motor vs the V8...
