Actionpacked combat is fun from the start, Both Metropolis and Gotham City look great, Beautiful comicbook cutscenes punctuate story missions, Changing gear doesn't mean you have to change your looks.
You reach the level cap and stop earning new powers incredibly quickly, A variety of interface and voice chat issues, Combat and missions get predictable, Not enough content to keep you invested beyond the free month.
Fun combat and great looks make DC Universe Online entertaining for a while, though various limitations keep it from being a long-term destination. ...
DC Universe Online looks and plays as good as any MMO at launch to date, "DCUO" combines the very best of superhero action with MMO gameplay, Some of the best level design I've ever seen in an online game, very little "grinding", "DCUO" sports deeper story and interesting characters earlier on than most games, Pretty and flexible, "DCUO" is the ultimate superhero sandbox
Clearly PC designers were in charge of the wonky menu system, bigger text and less menus please, Communication needs work, voice and text options are confusing and difficult to use well, I know it's an MMO, but same console multiplayer (sidekick?) would have been grand, No cross platform play means you sadly won't be playing against PC "DCUO" superheroes and villains, No $199 lifetime subscriptio

Abstract: DC Universe Online (DCUO) is undoubtedly an MMO aimed specifically toward console gamers. Having played both the PC and PS3 versions, the latter which we’re reviewing today, it’s apparent that the simple interface, straightforward upgrade system and un...
Clever use of the DC licence for console, Sony has created an MMO that seems to fit the format from the basic mechanics up to the pad in your hand. As good a reason to subscribe as we’ve seen in an MMORPG. 8.0/10Print this pageComments (0)Share this pa...

For a vanilla build, DC Universe Online is an accomplished first attempt. Its idiosyncrasies work well to introduce new players into the genre and attract seasoned players seeking a fresh experience. As you'd expect with any new MMORPG, it's a little roug...
