Abstract: Digging though old posts I came across a review I started but never finished dating back to 2006. The photos are even watermarked before we had a logo. The Zen Vision W was basically a larger version of the Zen Vision:M. They both had a great lookin...
Creative's Zen Vision W is a capable machine, despite the flaws. The wide screen is bright and does a fine job of displaying movies. Audio performance is excellent too, and size-wise it really isn't that bad, though if I was being picky I'd have liked it ...

Abstract: While a torrent of Portable Media Players emerged pre Christmas Creative have kept their power dry until just after the January sales before giving us the Zen Vision W. The package arrived at the offices for review and we clearly had the newer Archos 6...
video playback quality; hard disk noise [eminimall]
After my recent, somewhat disappointing experience with the Cowon A2 –and yup, I did in fact return the device–it was time to move on and try another of the available personal media players (PMPs) out on the market. This time, it’s...
Beautiful widescreen display, easy to use, solid construction, broad format compatibility
Significantly heavier than competing audio/video players, no line-in recording, unimpressive battery life

Nice-looking 16:9 screen. Good video quality and format support. Powerful built-in speaker. Intuitive interface. Removable battery. Supports PlaysForSure and Audible. TV output at 720-by-480. Excellent viewing angle.
No kickstand. Short audio battery life. Body feels bulky. No DVR feature. No video playlists or sequential playback.
This is a solid product with lots of features, good audio/video quality and a decent price, but its bulk and somewhat disappointing battery life keep it from shining.

Beautiful wide-screen display; durable design; intuitive interface; holds up to 60GB; supports wide array of video formats; plays FM radio; supports TiVo To Go and limited movie downloads; syncs with Outlook; removable battery; CompactFlash slot is nic...
Bulky body thats just a tad heavy; no line-in audio or video recording; no kickstand; TiVo To Go requires file conversion and third-party MPEG-2 decoder.
The bulky but easy-to-use Creative Zen Vision W and its nice screen will dazzle video lovers who dont require video recording.
