Abstract: We’ve seen Lilliputian MP3 players before, but Creative has taken the concept a step further with the Zen V Plus: This change-purse-size device boasts a vivid 1.5-inch OLED screen for viewing photos and videos. Besides its dimensions, we think this dev...
Abstract: While Apple likes to play the underdog to Microsofts monolithic status when it comes operating systems, in the MP3-player market, Apple reigns as hegemonic overlord. The cult of the iPod has become a social phenomena and Apples sales continue to grow...
The Creative Zen V Plus offers a cute, pocket-friendly design without sacrificing screen real estate, and the vivid OLED display is viewable from any angle. The player is packed to the gills with features, including an FM radio, voice and line-in recor...
The Creative Zen V Pluss joystick is really small and has a cheap feel to it, and we wish Creative had included all the buttons found on the Vision:M. The screen is difficult to see in bright sunlight, and theres no UMS support.
The Creative Zen V Plus is a superb choice for anyone looking for a compact and feature-filled flash MP3 player with great sound quality. If youre looking for a more sophisticated design (or have large thumbs), check out the iRiver Clix instead.

Lots of features. Very good audio quality. Cute design. Easy to operate and navigate. Good on-device file and playlist management features, including letter and keyword search.
OLED screen isnt very sharp, and color isnt accurate. Interface is sometimes sluggish. Video conversion and transfer require proprietary software. No power scrolling or scroll acceleration.
Overall, the Creative Zen V Plus is a very satisfying and reasonably priced device for mainstream consumers. It is jam-packed with features, and though the photo and video functions arent particularly impressive, the audio features are sure to please....
Good battery life, Feature-packed, Cute design, Organic user interface
Subpar transfer rate, Limited video format support
The Zen V Plus is an excellent little flash-based MP3 player that, despite its miniscule 2GB capacity, still manages to beat most of its peers hands down. ...
Tiny size, direct CD recording, video support, good display.
Clumsy interface, re-encoded video files a bit too large, lots of applications to manage.
If youve got smaller pockets and want an exceptionally portable flash-based player, the Zen V Plus is a decent choice, although youll need to invest some time in getting used to its somewhat slow and quirky interface.
