Fast and accurate, Classy, understated looks, nice lighting, Removable weight options, Comfortable and allows for multiple grip types
Doesn't work properly without a mouse mat, Laser alternative is only a few pounds more, Scroll wheel is a little loose.
To test the Corsair Raptor M45, I had the enviable task of playing around with it for a week, which meant spending some afternoons in deep ‘test' sessions of Age of Empires and Seven Kingdoms. I played a few other games too, mixing in first person shooter...

Great ergonomics, Macro recording, Full programmable buttons, Very good sensor (so long as you stay away from max DPI), Competitive price, Customisable weight
Side grip wears off after a few weeks, Sensor gets jitter towards max DPI, Price is competitive, but the M40 is much better value for money, eTeknix says:
“The mid budget options from Corsair are superb, they're right on par with what you can expect from rival brands such as Cooler Master and Thermaltake, but Corsair needs to make a little more effort to differentiate the M45 from its predecessor, the M40...
The Corsair Raptor M45 is a great gaming mouse with a host of features, great ergonomics and a competitive price. However its optical sensor is very picky about what surface you use it on and all told we see little reason not to spend the extra £10 and ge...
At £45 the price isn't bad at all for what the M45 offers you. It's a solid all-around mouse and better in every area over the similarly priced SteelSeries Raw – but for the software side of things. Add on to this the two year warranty and reliability and...
Aesthetically pleasing, Reasonably priced, Performs great on cloth pads, Great materials & build quality, Comfortable after long periods, Customisable software, On-the-fly DPI switch, Customisable weight system
Right handed only, Struggles to track on textured surfaces
Having spent plenty of time with the new Raptor M45 we are left in no doubt of its capabilities. From an aesthetic standpoint we have no qualms in approving the overall styling and design. It looks great on the desk and will combine with other periphe...
