  • Abstract:  Flip's nifty little HD video camera has had a makeover. It now comes in a sleeker, more rounded, silver and black case, has double the storage and a larger, anti-glare screen....

  • This is a neat upgrade to the original Flip MinoHD. The extra recording capacity is an essential upgrade, while the HDMI port will give you instant access to your video
if you want it. The Flip range is all about speed of access, with great software ...

  • Sleek new look; HDMI connection; solid 720p video; one-touch filming and uploading; gloriously simple to use
  • Still pricey, especially as other budget camcorders now shoot 1080p video
  • The second-generation MinoHD is certainly the prettiest Flip Video camcorder yet. It's wonderfully simple to use and marvellously pocketable too. If only it shot 1080p video ...

  • Tidy design, Good screen, 8GB storage
  • It's too expensive, Trumped by Vado HD
  • In the end it doesn't even have to come down to a value call between the Vado HD and this MinoHD 8GB edition. We were expecting it to be much more of a close run thing, but the Flip camera is simply too expensive in the context of the competition. The Cr...

  • Better than average video in good conditions, design, metal body looks great, simple to use
  • Background hissing in videos very obvious, low light performance not great, offers no features outside basic video capture, price
  • If you are happy to pay for the good looks, the Flip Mino HD will give you good footage in the right conditions. The sound is not great however, and rival devices now offer a wider range of features that make the Flip look a little limited in its offer...

  • The science of pocket camcorders is evolving. What was a great pocket camcorder yesterday (again, with all its compromises) is only adequate when a newer, better model comes out. Such is the case with the latest Flip MinoHD. It’s today’s great...

  • Abstract:  Has the Flip Mino HD sounded the death knell for the handicam? Well, it has for me. I've always wanted to own a handicam or some sort of video camera that is portable and can be whipped out at a moment's notice. Now I can with Flip's pint-sized Mino HD...
