  • Atmospheric, fascinating world rich with details and secrets, Satisfying, varied, hardhitting combat, Grappling and soaring around the city is thrilling, Great assortment of involving side quests, Makes terrific use of a host of Batman characters.
  • Boss fights are too easy.

  • Abstract:  For years people thought that every Batman video game was destined to be a failure. In 2009, the curse was broken when Batman Arkham Asylum hit the shelves and seized the coveted title of “Game of the Year” at many different outlets. With the bar set s...

  • Exciting fighting, crime-solving sequences, Excellent voice acting, Huge amounts of unlockable content, Ability to play as Catwoman puts a fun new spin on game play,
  • Borrows voraciously from previous game, Some aspects of story and game play stretch suspension of disbelief too far, Boss battles too easy, Many side missions don’t compare favorably with main game mode,
  • Batman: Arkham City never improves on the qualities that made Batman: Arkham Asylum great, but its richly varied game play and nearly flawless fit and finish make it one of the more enjoyable games of 2011. ...

  • Fantastic combat system... but bring a gamepad; definitive version of the game; tremendous city to explore that's full of content.
  • Frame rate issues running DX 11; keyboard control scheme isn't the greatest; needs some post-release patches ASAP.
  • PC gamers for years are used to updating their copies of games post-release so this isn't anything new for most of us. The patches will come, there's no doubt about that. Still it's a shame it wasn't in better shape on day one after being...

  • Fantastic story; gorgeous graphics; huge open world, and an insane amount of content (New Game will keep you plenty busy).
  • Boss battles are a bit buttonmash heavy; Catwoman "Online Pass" is bound to be a hassle for used game buyers.I tested the PC version of Arkham City on GamePro's Falcon Northwest Mach V gaming rig, running a 3.4 GHZ Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB RAM, two GTX 580 graphic cards, and a 64bit operating system, courtesy of the folks at Nvidia.I played the game at 1980 x 1080 (16:9) resolution with

  • Abstract:  It's amazing what a little perspective and a new video card will do for changing my opinion of a game! Back in November I wrote this in my Xbox 360 review of Batman: Arkham City:Unlike Arkham Asylum, Arkham City opens up the environment so...
