  • Abstract:  Video review: the ultimate basic MP3 player, it’s perfect for gym bunnies and those after a second jukebox. Shame about the reliance on the basic headphones ...

  • Comically small proportions, Easiest interface ever, Crisp audio
  • Voice control only works with iTunes, Cant use third party headphones yet, Slightly toy-like feel
  • If you have trouble lifting an iPod Nano, this tiny and talkative option simply swaps the screen for speech but the lack of decent cans leaves us wanting

  • Supports multiple playlists; can navigate thanks to VoiceOver controls; supports Apple Lossless files; higher-capacity; good sound and volume.
  • No controls on iPod; navigation more difficult than in the past thanks to headphone-based controls; battery charge poorer than in the past; tiny switch on top of iPod difficult to manage with adult fingers; must pay for adapter or compatible headphones if...

  • If youre looking strictly for an audio player that doesnt take up a lot of space, the third-generation iPod shuffle is ideal. But if youre unwilling to drop sixty quid for a feature-scarce MP3 player, you might want to consider some less expensive ...

  • Small, good looking, can hold more than one playlist
  • Only comes in two colours, fiddly to control on/off switch, robotic text to voice
  • It’s hard not be to taken in by the proportions and design of the new shuffle - it’s like a highly covetable techno tie clip...

  • Light as a feather; small as a paper clip; synthesised voice feature tells you what you're listening to; improved support for podcasts and audiobooks
  • Pill-sized remote control on the headphones is the only operation method; battery life isn't great; few features
  • Apple's third-generation iPod shuffle is the next best thing to an invisible MP3 player, but quirky controls, limited features and a diminished battery life mean it won't appeal to everyone ...

  • Abstract:  Apple’s third-generation iPod shuffle will please minimalist-design enthusiasts. Smaller than a USB thumb drive, it’s completely devoid of buttons, knobs, and a screen. While it is attractive, the shuffle’s earbud controls and VoiceOver feature might ...

  • Revamped, more compact design. Nice price for 2GB capacity. Adds support for playlists. VoiceOver feature announces song titles, informs you when the battery needs recharging.
  • Controls built into low-quality earphones. No display. No FM tuner. Bundled USB cable is too short.

  • Abstract:  Apple products come with three qualities– simplicity, sleek body and minimalistic design. The latest 3rd Generation iPod Shuffle boasts all the three qualities but I think Apple may have gone too far with minimalism. The new iPod Shuffle is totally differ...
