  • Elegant and easy to use, Superb value, Simple interface
  • Small screen, Format restrictive
  • Apple doesnt make a specifically prescribed video player, but this hot-off-the-presses new generation of its flagship portable is the closest. With the entry-level capacity now 80Gb, and the top end a seemingly impossible 160Gb (more than most new lap...

  • Capacity; design; good screen; Cover Flow; use of album art; high-quality video support; great games; handy search feature; sound quality; support for lossless audio; integrated podcast features
  • New main menu UI; have to use iTunes; navigation can be slow at times
  • Apple has not only exceeded our expectations, its exceeded ones we didnt even have. The iPod classic is a superb audio player with a huge wealth of well-integrated features and intuitive navigation. Our only real concern is that menus can be laggy. ...

  • My hands-on time with the new iPod classic left me with a largely positive impression. Its less exciting than the nano in terms of its new appearance and fewer major feature upgrades. However, two of those improvements - considerably better battery l...

  • Metal casing, CoverFlow
  • No touch, no real change apart from metal casing and some software tweaks
  • If you are serious about your music, video and image collection and want to carry it around with you, then this is the model for you

  • As the latest hard drive iPod, the Classic - with its extra capacity and metal casing - is a good extension to the series. Yes, the silver model falls flat, but the black version is spot on. Wed say the same about the revamped user interface if it wa...

  • Tons of storage. Improved interface. “Classic” iPod controls. Easy navigation.
  • Cover Flow is a bit slow. Bundled earbuds aren’t great.

  • Great screen, Possibly the best sounding PMP, Well built, Unmatched storage,
  • Heavy and bulky, Larger screen would have made it better at movies

  • Sleek design; easy-to-use interface; great podcast support; genius feature; video playback is excellent; rated battery life is great.
  • EQ control is limited; some older iPod video accessories may not be compatible; the plastic screen is susceptible to scratching; users are required to use the latest version of iTunes, which may not work on some older computer systems.

  • Good battery life, Crisp screen, Excellent interface, Large capacity, Excellent sound quality, Good design.
  • Unresponsive click wheel, Restricted to iTunes.
  • The iPod Classic goes for Rs.15,000 for the 120GB version, which is just about what an 8GB touch will cost you. Depending on whether you want the larger storage space and actual music or just a better convergence device you could make your choice betw...

  • Huge capacity; great sound quality; support for high-quality audio and video formats; decent screen; integration with iTunes for music, movie and TV show downloads; heaps of accessories available; sturdy design.
  • Only one capacity option; lackluster EQ options; weaker battery life compared with previously available classic.
  • 120GB of storage and the addition of the Genius feature make up for the slightly reduced battery life over the previous model, reaffirming the iPod classic as our favorite portable audio player on record.
