  • Much improved cameras, more rigid aluminum for less bend, significantly faster, Touch ID much faster. 3D Touch shows promise. Easier to buy unlocked thanks to full retail sales and Apple Upgrade Program.
  • Same as always: expensive, no microSD card slot and battery is sealed inside

  • Great design, 3D Touch impresses, Stable OS
  • Battery life low, Live Photos don't always work, Price high for a lowres screen
  • Apple's done what we all expected - finely balanced its latest phone. 3D Touch is a genuine innovation, and the phone works fluidly at nearly every task - but it's very similar to 2014's model...

  • Battery life is surprisingly good, Great look, solid construction, 3D Touch is more useful than it first appears, Live Photos is cute, if a gimmick
  • One of the most expensive phones available, Some parts of iOS are still frustrating
  • As Apple's 'S' phones go, the iPhone 6s is the best yet. Indeed, it is the best iPhone to date. the core of the phone is rock solid; processing is fast, the screen is good and the App Store is still overflowing with apps to download. But changes to the ca...

  • If you're thinking of upgrading from the iPhone 6, I can't really say whether the camera upgrades should sway you in favour of a new device. You get 4 more megapixels of resolution that you will probably never know is there. You get a hair sharper detail...

  • The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus still have some distinct advantages in their DNA that make them compelling prospects. App developers seem to flock to Apple first in terms of releases, and the stronger hold over apps generally means that the iOS version of a giv...

  • 3D Touch is a meaningful innovation, Amazing cameras, 2GB of RAM makes the iPhone 6s zippier,
  • Battery may underwhelm power users, Still starts at 16GB, More expensive this year thanks to Aus. dollar,
  • The iPhone 6s is a great phone, and a much bigger step forward than your typical "s" model. With it, Apple has addressed the vast majority of niggling problems I had with the iPhone 6 while still adding a few meaningful improvements. 2GB of RAM, 3D Touch...

  • While I've got a few quibbles about the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus—the ungenerous 16GB base configuration, a lack of improvement to battery life, a desire for Live Photos to be a bit higher in quality—these are all quibbles around the edges of a remarka...

  • Compared to iPhone 6, it has improved speed everywhere (new processor, faster wireless, quicker Touch ID sensor); a sturdier body; better front and rear cameras; and a bold new 3D Touch pressure-sensitive display which offers new iOS shortcuts
  • It has the same battery life as the iPhone 6. You'll need to buy a larger iPhone 6S Plus or upgrade to an iPhone 7 for better battery life, plus optical image stabilization for photos and video
  • The newest iPhones are top-to-bottom better phones with lots of enhancements; iPhone 6 owners don't need the upgrade, but everyone else should seriously consider it...
