  • Most powerful Mac ever, Excellent design, Keeps cool, New Space Gray color is ace
  • Very expensive, Non user-upgradable, Magic Mouse 2 still frustrating
  • In many ways, the iMac Pro is the pinnacle of Apple's computing division – it's easily the most powerful machine the company has ever made, and yet it still retains that irresistible slimline design and build quality that iMacs are known for.It goes witho...

  • Incredible performance and engineering. Superdetailed and colouraccurate screen. We love the aesthetics too
  • At this pric, a traditional desktop and screen may be more effective in the longterm. Mouse needs redesigning
  • The iMac Pro truly is a marvel: beautifully designed both from an engineering perspective and aesthetically - something that's perhaps easy to forget when you have a standard 5K iMac on your desk every day, until you put the the iMac Pro next to a PC work...

  • Abstract:  Let's face it. Just like when the iPhone 5 dropped, you lust after the iMac Pro because it is Space Grey. That phone was a substantial but reasonable upgrade - the same cannot be said for most for the iMac Pro. This is a phenomenally powerful machine, on...

  • Superpowered base spec, Expansive buildtoorder options, Redesigned thermal system, Attractive design and Space Grey finish
  • Far too expensive for most budgets
  • The iMac Pro is an exceptionally powerful and stable system, but that was never really in doubt. The real question is whether you need its power and can justify its cost. This isn't a gaming rig, even though its graphical capabilities are considerable: you...

  • If you need the extra cores, superior graphics, 10Gb ethernet, HBM2 graphics memory and ECC RAM, and the four Thunderbolt/USB Type-C ports offered only by the iMac Pro, your decision is easy. But the Pro machine is seriously expensive, and you need to thi...

  • Abstract:  I admit it: I didn't think it could be done. When I heard the specs for the new iMac Pro, my immediate reaction was, "that's going to need liquid-nitrogen cooling for the 18-core model." After all, the 16-core AMD Threadripper I've been testing has been kn...

  • When you break them down side by side, the iMac Pro outperforms the Surface Studio in just about every regard - it's only lacking a touchscreen. On the other hand, it also comfortable outdoes the Microsoft device in price, with even the cheapest iMac Pro...
