  • Abstract:  ZEROtherm doesnt shy away from challenges in the cooling industry, taking on the big dogs in a crowded cooling ring. Todays arena is the HardwareLogic test bench, and the heavyweight competition is the Zalman CNPS9700LED. This should be a great match...

  • 42 USD after rebate is a great price, Great performance, Beautiful mirror plated finish over the entire heatsink, Cool blue LED fan, Four Ushaped heatpipes, Included fan controller, Fan is quiet at low speed
  • Base imperfections, Proprietary fan, Fan is loud at full speed, May have clearance issues in tight cases under certain configurations
  • The Zerotherm Nirvana NV120 Premium is a great heatsink that can be had for as little as $42 after rebate, which is a great price for a solid performer. I just cannot get over how beautiful the finish is on the Nirvana, and that finish wraps the entire...

  • Overall I like the looks and style of the NV120 PWM CPU cooler. The nickel coating and unique fin design make this an attractive addition to any chassis. The cooler doesn’t do all that bad in testing, but I say it’s the low CFM production of t...

  • Good price, Well-built, Easy to use, Effective cooling
  • Can be a bit noisy when it starts up
  • Zerotherm have missed a trick with their Nirvana cooler - it could have at least come in a heart-shaped box. Or smelt like teen spirit. They may be referring to the Buddhist concept of nirvana and not the 90s grunge band, but nirvana literally transla...

  • Abstract:  Zerotherms Nirvana NV-120 is a very effective cooler with a tall radiator and a fan that clips to the side. The removable fan makes the main unit easier to attach, as it doesnt get in the way, but clipping it to the radiator can be fiddly. The NV...

  • The numbers do not lie, the NV120 is a very efficient air-cooler. In our test rig you may want to note that there’s a 120mm exhaust fan that lines up perfectly with the NV120’s fan. This makes for an ideal situation in this particular case...

  • The asking price for this cooler is well deserved, with good cooling combined with mulnaz noise levels. The cooler also can pump a lot of air should you choose to go for the best performance over silence which is always nice. It looks great and also p...

  • Abstract:  No matter how much we can laud the Nirvana, we would like to have seen a more conventional fan being used or at the very least a way to mount a conventional fan. As it stands this is a great cooler that will serve a variety of consumer..

  • I wasn’t quite sure how well a heatsink would perform facing up. Since heat rises, pulling air from the top of an enclosure can be a nightmare and actually cause an increase in temperature. I will most likely purchase an aftermarket NB passive heats...
