  • I can say that it was well worth the money spent. If you want a fast machine and have the money in your budget, but don’t have the time or skill to build a machine yourself, give Alienware a look. You won’t be disappointed...

  • Performance, Unique design, Features
  • Large case / wasted space, Expensive
  • At the end of the day, this PC won't suit all gamers, but for those looking for a PC that performs incredibly well, has loads of room for expansion and a case design that'll stand out from the crowd, then you should definitely be considering the Area 51 f...

  • Slick, surprisingly practical design, Powerful, Cool and quiet,
  • Not value for money, Four 4GB RAM sticks rather than two 8GB, Included mouse and keyboard aren't great,
  • When you're looking at the Alienware Area 51 from a pure bang for buck perspective, it's not exactly good value. If you were to buy your own hardware and build a comparable machine yourself, you could easily save yourself at least AUD$700 depending on wh...

  • A unique design that really stands out; Water-cooled and overclocked so you don't have to; Spec'd to play pretty much any game for the next three years, at least; Wireless 802.11ac and Gigabit Ethernet included; Easy to open and very upgradeable by the ow
  • Not cheap; Lighting is fairly subdued for Alienware; Mediocre mouse and keyboard included with no Alienware-esque lighting on either;
  • Without a doubt, Alienware's Area 51 is one machine gamers will definitely want to take a look at, provided they don't plan on flinching or baulking at the asking price.If you're not bothered by that, the machine is one of the better pre-built systems we'...

  • Eyecatching, Powerful, Design choice is actually practical
  • It's heavy, It's not cheap
  • The Alienware Area 51 might look bizarre, but the design has been thought out carefully and makes a lot of sense. Sure, it's heavy and perhaps too big for some rooms, but with some powerful, customisable specs and a look that'll certainly have visitors t...

  • Abstract:  8.6The Area 51- 7500 from the moment the huge black box shows up at the door, to the moment of opening the packaging which is well packed and protected by shock absorbing packing materials, gives off an air of a company that takes its building of a sy...

  • Powerful, Good cooling system, Very powerful, Good headphone lineout, Extremely powerful
  • Noisy, Disappointing internal structure and finish
  • The Alienware Area 51 is designed for gamers who want maximum power without having to get their hands dirty. This ultimate configuration costs an arm and leg, though, and unfortunately isn't flawless—it's excessively noisy. For many, it'll prove much chea...

  • Abstract:  We rarely cover gaming rigs here at Pocket-lint, but there's something so iconic and, well, downright insane about the Alienware Area-51 that we couldn't resist. Or maybe the Greys have taken over our brains. Far from flying in from a land far away and m...
