  • Beautiful design, Excellent feel, Two USB-C ports
  • Middling battery life, No keyboard backlight
  • Like we said, the Acer Swift 7 is one of the most gorgeous laptops of the year already, but it cuts a few too many corners to offer up a more affordable laptop in vein of the 12-inch MacBook. Some might be inclined to think that, with a better screen, bat...

  • Overall, Acer's Swift 7 is an impressive bit of kit. It's got some pretty decent specs for such a tiny and lightweight device, but those who were hoping to take advantage of Intel's most efficient chips yet might be best holding off before splurging on th...

  • The Swift 7 is a seriously impressive laptop - it's practically as thin as a smartphone, but has enough power to run all your desktop jobs smoothly. The price has taken a big leap from last year's model, but even with a year-old CPU, this revised Swift 7...

  • Great build quality,It's very slim
  • Weird non-clicky trackpad,Very expensive,Older and less powerful CPU,Low screen resolution for the price
  • The 2018 Acer Swift 7 slims down an already slender and impressive laptop, adding 4G connectivity, more power and a keyboard backlight to improve over its predecessor.Problem is, however, it's about £650 more for the pleasure, coming in with a mighty £1,5...

  • The Acer Swift is a gloriously slim laptop. It might not be the fastest portable on the block, but it's amazingly slim, very light and the price is lower than a lot of the ultraportable competition.Add in a fantastic trackpad, attractive design, and above...

  • Ultrathin, Stunning design, Large trackpad
  • Sluggish performance, No backlit keyboard
  • It might not be the fastest machine on the market, but this elegant, ultrathin laptop is great value...

  • The Swift 7 is one of the best-designed Windows laptops of this year, but cuts a few too many corners to offer itself up as the foil to an ultimate rival. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our time using the Swift 7 with its snappy inputs and excellent fee
  • That said, we wish we could actually use the Swift 7 for longer than around five to six hours, two hours fewer than Acer's promise. Plus, the lack of keyboard lighting might seem superficial, but it's a nicety we've come to expect on laptops costing more

  • One of the thinnest ultrabooks on the market, Beautiful design, Generous trackpad
  • Poor performance from the Y series i5, No keyboard backlighting, Lack of connectivity options, Only one spec configuration
  • The Swift 7 is beautiful looking machine with one of thinnest frames on the market, but it's let down by a low performance CPU and too many cut corners. A solid ultrabook for those that want something thin, but otherwise there's very little it offers o...
