  • The Dark Pictures - Man Of Medan takes a while to get going, but eventually the scares start kicking in, and it's a lot of fun screaming alongside your friends. This is a game that's meant to be shared and is a blast to play in groups. A promising start t...

  • SuperMassive still know how to make fantastic horror co-op, A lot of different routes for unique playthroughs, Some awesome monster designs, Memorable cast, Shawn Ashmore
  • Some routes have weird inconsistencies that can result in character death

  • Terrible Script and voice acting, Facial animations are wooden, Movement is clumsy and off putting, Dialogue choices can be ignored by main story,

  • Tense and creative scares throughout, Cast of characters are varied and likeable, Looks positively lovely at times, Decisions have major consequences
  • A little on the short side, Visuals and performance are inconsistent, Setting isn't the most inspired
  • The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan is a solid beginning to what I hope becomes a memorable selection of virtual horror outings. The setting here didn't do much for me if I'm perfectly honest, but the memorable characters, razor sharp pacing and wel...

  • Abstract:  Supermassive knows its horror. From the tense and unsettling intro to Man of Medan, through the sedate build-up of its first act, right through to the ghost ship-inspired payoff, you can tell the studio lives and breathes horror.Drawing on elements from th...

  • The two player single player story is a great idea, Strong scares and atmosphere, An interesting and engaging adventure
  • Disappointing pacing issues, Surprise QTEs can be killer, Threat quickly disappears
  • At its best Man of Medan delivers a confident and well crafted horror experience with a genuinely clever two player mode. But it's unbalanced pacing has a little too much opening filler and an unsatisfying conclusion...
