  • Thin body, Lack of cable clutter, User-friendly
  • Wireless link supports only 1080i, Quite expensive

  • Abstract:  Sony's EX1 series of LCDs comes in three flavours – 52, 40 and the 46 inch version we tried, but they all come surrounded by a distinctive white bezel, and they're all very thin (ours measured just 5cm). The main reason for the thinness is that they ar...

  • Good connectivity, excellent HD picture quality, great built-in sound and base, good separate voice volume, slim design
  • Seems expensive, 1080p and 24p True Cinema modes not available via Media Receiver (direct monitor input only)
  • The latest Sony HD LCD TV is a slim and stylish affair that doubles as a 40-inch "art" picture frame. It’s also wireless too and while it looks the part it’s quite expensive and has a bit of an Achilles heel in that it cannot wirelessly stream...

  • Abstract:  With the release of the EX1 series ($8999), Sony has become the first company to bring wireless connectivity to a commercial television product. Instead of plugging all your cables into the back of the EX1, you connect all your devices to a "media tran...
