The UN55C7000 is a good TV. It isn't the best one we've seen, and certainly had some issues at launch, but it certainly isn't the worst example of a brand new technology. If you ignore the special features, the UN55C7000 would be ridiculously expensi...
Abstract: With color information both light and dark appearing so deeply saturated, contrast effect is excellent. Blacks appear inky and sometimes lose dark shadow detail. White light sometimes is distractingly too bright. Contrast appears more intense on the sc...

Abstract: The hottest new home entertainment technology to appear since the introduction of Blu-ray has got to be 3D. Most of the major brands have their own systems on the verge of launch, but to make it into Australian retail electronics stores. For 3D to wor...
For now, using the battery-powered glasses and a 3D Blu-ray of Monsters vs Aliens, this TV stacks up and is well worth rushing out to buy for the upcoming State Of Origin series, which Channel Nine will put to air in 3D. And at $2,999 Samsung has really set the cat among the pigeons, with several vendors already scratching their heads as they struggle to compete with the Korean TV giant.
On the downside, Samsung need to sort out their remote controls, because at times I was utterly confused as to which button to press. Another weakness is the Skype control. Excellent picture with standard 2D video, very fine detail in 1080p Blu-ray video content, good colour reproduction
Internal speakers distort on bass notes, overly sharp at default settings, unnatural motion reproduction in default settings, 2D-3D conversion is imperfect
Samsung's Series 7 (UA55C7000) is the best edge-lit LED television we've seen. It doesn't have the deep inky black levels of a high-end plasma television, but its colour reproduction is good and 2D video looks great. The UA55C7000's motion control handles...
Attractive styling; good picture quality; impressive sound
High price; Too small a screen for immersive 3D
Samsung's UE46C7000 is a good-looking TV that does a great job with both SD and HD content. Its 3D ability is good, but not brilliant -- for the optimum 3D experience, we think you need a slightly larger set than this 46-incher. Even so, it's a sound a...
