Abstract: Phablets bridge the gap between phones and tablets. They can make calls and access the internet via a mobile network, but they also have screens that are big enough (just about) to allow you to use them like a tablet. The form factor has already overtaken...
Impressive though it undoubtedly is, the new Note 3 doesn't eclipse the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. The Ultra's screen is larger and more natural in hue; Sony's tweaked version of Android is a darned sight less confusing than Samsung's; the bespoke Sony media a...
Massive, stunning 1080p display, Lighter and faster than before, Dizzying array of software enhancements
Some software enhancements are dubious, Like all phablets, it's huge
Should you get a phone or a phablet? Samsung isn't making the decision easy, thanks to its sheer number of available devices with all manner of screen sizes. For example, the Samsung Galaxy Mega (which we'll have a review of very soon) steps up to an eve...

Powerful, very fast, lots of storage, bursting with features, decent cameras, useful S Pen
Mostly aesthetic: frustrating and clumsy Touchwiz user interface, ugly faux leather backplate, cheap-looking design
This super-fast device is Samsung's lightest and thinnest Note so far. While its design lets the Galaxy Note 3 down, the device is loaded with plenty of business features, and is great for multitasking and heavy workloads....

Too big for most pockets perhaps, not everyone likes the stylus
It's big, but it's beautifully formed, and delivers excellent performance and a world-leading screen. The camera is pretty good too but it's the S-Pen that really sells the Note series, and the new version is ace. View Gallery 6 items Spec...

Improved looks, hugely powerful, 4K video looks epic, improved camera over Note 2, beautiful screen, new S Pen functionality,
Some will find it too big, SIM lock might be a problem, handwriting recognition failure bug
There are a few little things about the Note 3 that we think require some attention, such as photo processing and possible concern over SIM region-locking. These feel like software issues though, and that gives us some hope that they might be fixed...
Sharp, colorful HD display; Impressive 13megapixel snapper; Great power; SPen plus apps.
Nothing new to shout about; Niche product.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is not a whole new phone, but an upgrade, however its sharp 5.7in HD display, 13MP snapper and great performance all appeal – and the S-Pen and creativity options make it stand out from the crowd...
Great battery life, Excellent screen, Top-notch specs and performance, More premium look and feel than previous Notes, Runs Android 4.3, the newest version
S Pen still doesn't feel like a must-have feature, Abundance of added features will be overwhelming for many, Poor speaker placement
For power users looking for a big-screen phone to help manage their hectic lives, the Galaxy Note 3 is a no-brainer, especially if you like the idea of using a stylus for jotting down notes. And even if you don't use the S Pen, the device still delivers...
Crisp, bold screen; Very powerful; Stylus is great for writing notes; Attractive design; Good camera
Enormous size will be cumbersome for most; Expensive; Camera doesn't impress in low light; Vast amounts of settings will be confusing for Android novices
Its huge 5.7-inch size means the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 really won't be to everyone's taste. If you're after a big screen, however, and a phenomenally powerful phone to help tackle anything your working life is likely to throw at it -- and you fancy hand-w...
The Note 3 seems like a great device, so far I've found nothing wrong. So much so that I really struggled to complete the “bad points” section at the top of the article. I'm basically going to be spending the next few weeks testing out all of the differen...
