  • Durable build quality, Display decent in standard light, Comfortable to wear
  • Near impossible to see in bright sun, No light sensor for automatic display brightness adjustments, Heart rate sensor near usele
  • The Samsung Gear Live is a decent piece of hardware with a significant flaw. It's durable, comfortable, and has adequate battery life. That said, its display is barely visible at max settings in sunlight and it lacks a light sensor, so it's tough to rec...

  • Great display, Comfortable
  • Battery life, Slower to charge than LG G Watch
  • 7.5 With it's bold, bright and beautiful display and fast performance, Samsung has created a very good first generation Android Wear smartwatch, but it's battery life leaves a bit to be desired for hardcore users....

  • Works with any Android Smartphone running Android 4.3 or higher, excellent voice accuracy despite background noise, the longer you use it the better it gets
  • Terrible clasp system (Fitbit like), one day battery life, display just ok in direct sunlight

  • Android Wear can do a lot right now, and is mostly looks pretty nice, too. At the moment, the software is showing great upside, but as it stands, there's not too much to get excited about just yet. Smartwatches have been novelties so far, and while Google...

  • The right price, More interesting industrial design than the G Watch, Better display specs than G Watch
  • Almost illegible display in sunlight, Annoying strap and charging adapter, Poor battery life
  • The Gear Live is the best hardware expression of the world's best smartwatch OS. But Samsung's reign will be short unless it innovates in key areas....

  • An efficient way to deal with notifications. Raises voice commands to a new high—especially sending text messages or asking Google Now for something. Not unpretty. I expect appmakers to figure out some cool new interactions down the road
  • Terrible battery life. Crummy charger. It listens well, but it can't play audio. Nor can it take a picture or run a video chat. Screen is too dim for sunny days. Blips on and off awkwardly in the dark if you forget to mute it

  • We'll make this part easy: Both the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live should get you through a full day without worry. But regardless of which watch you choose, you'll almost certainly need to charge it every single night. Some folks seem disappointed b...
