  • Stylish, Comfortable, Great Sound, Great Microphone, Noise Cancellation, 9ft Cable
  • USB is only for lighting up the Razer Logos 3.5mm jacks for microphone/headphones, would have been nice to see an adapter to give the option to make it all go through USB, The microphone only swings one directions, Lows could be a little better, 9ft Cable, Price (as tested $80.00us)
  • After wearing this headset for hours on end and playing a large range of games such as FEAR, Oblivion, World in Conflict, HL2 E2, and TF2 as well as listening to different types of music and watching the movie V for Vendetta, We can conclude that this...

  • Abstract:  Today’s online multiplayer games, like Team Fortress 2, work best when team action is coordinated through talking. Typing in messages can be acceptable if there is a break in the action, but this happens rarely enough that chatting is really the...

  • Excellent sound quality, durable, comfortable.
  • Poor control switch, odd USB attachment, poor end cabling.
  • A great 3.5mm headset for anyone, gamers and travelers especially.

  • Gaming peripherals are always difficult to evaluate because you always get the faint impression that the very fact they're designed for gamers is supposed to excuse them faults that on a normal product would be considered near-unforgivable. Luckily for Ra...

  • My past few weeks with the RAZER Piranha Gaming Communicator have been pleasant. The sound reproduction for the headset has been quite impressive when watching movies or gaming. The comfort level during prolonged use has also impressed me. I can lay ...

  • The Razer Piranha is a worthy follow-up to the Razer Barracuda in some regards, though not in others. While the sound performance is clearly above-average at worst and the design is interesting to look at, my experience with the Piranhas turned out to ...

  • Good sound quality Super long cord
  • Ear cups an odd size
  • The Razer Piranha Communicator Headphones are certainly not uncomfortable to wear for extended sessions, but the ear cups are an odd size a bit larger than typical on ear headphones and a bit too small for around the ear headphones. The sound quality i...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Razer Piranha Headset has round soft ear cups which pivot and a fully adjustable padded headband. The microphone swings down and can be adjusted horizontally. Since this headset is made from durable materials it's designed to take LAN party abuse. The headphones have a frequency response of 18 to 20,000 Hz, an impedance of 32 Ohm and a sound pressure level of 114 dB. The microphone has a frequency response of 80 to 15,000 Hz, an impedance of 2000 Ohms, the pickup pattern is uni directional, and the sensitivity is 38dB. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.
