  • Excellent combat system, Levels are gorgeous, Variety of playstyles
  • Tedious bosses, Humans are still too easy
  • Nioh 2 does a lot right and fixes many of my issues with the first one. Much like the first one, however, it is a flawed experience. It's still incredibly enjoyable and certainly worth a playthrough, I just wish it was a little less tedious in areas

  • Deep and intricate battle system,Satisfying mini-bosses and bosses,Lighter in tone than Dark Souls,Fine graphics,Clever co-op online play,Meaty and satisfying to play
  • Not for the faint-hearted,Mastery of battle system must be worked at,Sometimes requires periods of grinding
  • Right now, we're all looking for deep, immersive escapism, and Nioh 2 delivers that in absolute spades. It will, at times, leave you tearing your hair out with frustration, and it does demand plenty of concentration. However, it is also blessed with a fabu...

  • Abstract:  Shouldering the Yokai. An absorbing, tense and well-wrought samurai adventure let down by a little too much recycling and some muddled new systems. The measure of a good Soulslike isn't the might of its (Nameless) kings, but the deviousness of its pawns...

  • Nioh 2 Darkness in the Capital is a fun addition to an already lengthy game. Sure the main missions can be on the short side, but it's still fun to play. I recommend getting this DLC to fight Ren Hayabusa if you are a huge fan of Dead or Alive and Ninja...
