  • Abstract:  A brilliant game, with some ambitious but often relentless cut-scenes. Its a PS3 killer-app alright, but for all its qualities, its a little way off perfect. Konami - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots price Buy Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the...

  • that succeeds hugely at everything it sets out to do. It sets new standards for graphics, sound, gameplay, and storytelling, and it may be years before it is equaled, let alone surpassed. You will not play a better game this year-maybe even this decad...

  • An epic story, incredible opening Acts, Snake is cool as the proverbial cucumber
  • Some cutscenes can go on a little too long, a few bits of hokey dialogue
  • As a game on its own, it’s stunning in its own right. Ignore the naysayers who claim the story is dull and tedious, they’re just fools. Metal Gear Solid 4 is simply fantastic

  • Despite its intrusive storyline, Metal Gear Solid 4 is a varied, engaging and entertaining epic. It may diminish slightly towards the end of the game, but there could be no greater reward for the fans’ patience than this. 9.2/10Print this pageUser r...

  • Abstract:  Set in 2014, five years after the "Big Shell Incident" that took place in Metal Gear Solid 2, Guns of the Patriot is the first game in the long-running franchise to appear on the next-gen PS3 console. To say that Metal Gear has a cult following would b...

  • Fantastic blend of stealth and action. Great dramatic story. Amazing graphics and very well directed in-game cutscenes. Varied and eye-popping environments. Lots of unlockable music and costumes. Great fan service.
  • Cutscenes may be too long for some. Boss fights while fun arent very challenging. Long and confusing sign-up process for multiplayer. We may never be seeing Solid Snake again.

  • The best-looking game on the PS3, Technically sound, Lengthy single player campaign, Impeccable action gaming, Stealth mechanics own
  • Less emphasis on stealth
  • Just as stealth games aren’t for everyone, the relatively sedate pace of cinematic gaming may seem unappealing to many. If you prefer fast-paced action games that keep you on your toes, chances are you’ve not liked the Metal Gear Solid se...
