  • At 6.8 inches, the Kobo Aura HD's e, ink screen is among the largest available.
  • The device is thicker than most other eReaders.
  • The Kobo Aura HD has many great features, including the ability to download a large variety of document files, but it doesn't have the same value as other eBook readers....

  • Big, high-res screen, Strong front light, Lots of storage for an e-reader
  • Pricey, Big footprint, Software still lacking
  • This reader's got solid specs, but price and size constraints will likely hamper wide appeal....

  • Abstract:  The Kindle Paperwhite , which we reviewed a couple of months ago, is a great way to keep reading when the lights are off. But is it the only way? Despite Amazon's dominance of the eReader market, some competitors manage to keep their heads above water, an...

  • That 265 ppi display blows away other e-reader and most tablets for sharpness; ComfortLight is bright, even and easy on the eyes; 4 GB of internal storage (expandable  using Micro SD cards); text has huge customization options thanks to TypeGenius (with 1
  • There's no getting around the fact that $169.99 is getting up there for an e-reader; the slightly larger display means that some covers and cases meant for 6-inch devices won't fit the Aura HD; the Onyx model in particular was prone to attracting fingerpr

  • Excellent high-res screen, Light evenly distributed on the screen, Comfortable design, Includes browser and games
  • Design doesn't feel premium, Text washes out when light is at full brightness, Light is somewhat harsh, Screen doesn't respond consistently
  • The Kobo Aura HD's high-resolution screen improves the reading experience by making fonts crisp and clear at any size. Unfortunately, the Nook and Kindle E Ink readers already do a pretty good job of this and the Aura's display doesn't surpass them by m...

  • High quality E Ink display, ergonomically and aesthetically pleasing design, broad file types and image types support, fastest Kobo ereader yet
  • Still not as responsive as we'd like, touch commands can be sluggish at times
