  • Excellent design, Great illuminated screen, Expandable memory, Strong software
  • More expensive than the Paperwhite, No Pageflip feature
  • The Aura is a great eBook reader. It is £20 more expensive than the Kobo Glo – which is still available to buy – but for my money it's a better designed and even more solid reader that fits slightly more comfortably in the hand. Of course, the new Kindle...

  • Textured back adds grip, Even backlight, Long battery life
  • A little expensive, No standby sync
  • With the longest battery life of any eReader on the market, you can overlook the slightly higher price of the Kobo Aura. It has a great and even backlight, clear text and loads of software features that will let you enjoy your chosen book with ease. Certa...

  • The Kobo Aura HD impressed us with its pixel packed screen and smooth fonts. The Kobo Aura's has a slightly lower overall resolution, measuring 1014x758, but its slightly smaller six-inch screen means the effective pixel density of 212ppi remains super sharp, and matches up to the premium Kindle Paperwhite. The gorgeous screen dominates the entire front portion of the e-reader, with just a thin b
  • We're fans of the overall package that Kobo has put together with its latest Aura model, and to be honest, there's not much to fault it on as it's a solid product with a few top-notch features. On our review sample, however, there was a tiny little gap at the top between the screen bezel and the edge of the Aura that bled out a little light. While it's not a total deal breaker by any stretch, it
  • Kobo's latest e-reader is a solid effort that comes close to rivalling Amazon's Kindle range, thanks to a solid high-resolution screen, excellent build quality and an evenly distributed frontlight. Throw in Pocket integration, great battery life and a ...

  • The core reading experience is a real pleasure, the integration of the Pockets web page saver is great too and we've plenty of time for the look, feel and the ComfortLight.
  • WiFi connection can be shaky, it's a touch pricey and it's prone to the odd glitch
  • We really like the Kobo Aura. It does the core job very well and it's something of a pleasure to own. If Kobo could iron out the kinks, it'd be a stone cold, five star ereader....

  • Light and dinky; Antireflective lightup touchscreen; Good online store; Expandable storage
  • Price; Top brightness kills the battery
  • If you’re after an eReader for taking on holiday or the daily commute, the Kobo Aura is a great option. It’s compact enough to carry anywhere, the expandable storage means you can carry an enormous collection, and the ClarityScreen can be clearly seen at ...
