  • Overall, I am quite impressed with the sound quality of The Three. It has a clean, rich, well-balanced sound, though the soundfield does not extend beyond the cabinet. In addition, the sound seems to be coming from a box, giving it a slightly closed-in qu...

  • Klipsch combines vintage design, decades of experience in speakers, and the smarts of Google all into one package with The Three featuring Google Assistant. In a sea of smart speakers, this all helps it stand out in the best of ways. Unfortunately, all of...

  • I can't deny how great this speaker sounds. I do wish it brought the connectivity options the original The Three Heritage speaker has. You get full room-filling sound for a slight investment.  Two of these speakers can fill a small home. This makes me eag...

  • Klipsch has managed to do what many speakers try and fail to do—make music sound as good as on similarly sized bookshelf speakers. Yes, the stereo separation you get from separate speakers isn't there but if you are tight on space or a traditional speaker
  • The Klipsch Stream app has some minor quirks to work out.
  • The Klipsch The Three speaker is not cheap, but this is a speaker that justifies its price. It will fill a room with pleasing audio, has many easy ways to connect to your music and gives you the freedom to be teamed with other Play-Fi speakers for a wirel...

  • Abstract:  When I first got my Google Home in 2017, I was elated. Having already been a smart home fanatic, having this kind of voice-controlled hub was a real novelty. Then of course along came the Mini and the Google Home Hub screen. Having these devices dotted ar...

  • We're still a bit shocked that there's no auxiliary input here at all — a sign of the times! But with streaming the thing, and The Three offering Chromecast plus Google Assistant for so many ways to play music here, who needs to plug anything in? The Thre...

  • Luxurious design, Very loud, Wide soundstage, Google Assistant built in
  • Very expensive, Treble can be harsh
  • The Three with Google Assistant is loud and proud, with a high acoustic output and an wide soundstage. Yes, it's expensive, but its cool mid-century design and integrated Google Assistant could just about justify the price...

  • Great build quality, Decent sound quality, Retro design
  • Voice recognition can be hit or miss, Pricey, Sound lacks the same finesse of rival speakers
  • If the looks work for you, it's possible you'll be able to overlook The Three's sonic shortcomings. And if you like the Klipsch's combination of detail and attack, it's possible you'll be able to get beyond its rather lumpy timing. But for us, the title...
