  • Were going with yes. While in some ways the above mentioned Withings Pulse is a better tracker (you can even periodically add heart-rate data), the Fitbit Force is simply the most convenient. It works really well, its comfortable, its accurate, and you...

  • In the increasingly crowded activity tracker market, Fitbit has not only created a range of devices of various prices (US$60 to $130) and capabilities, but has kept pace with the competition by developing the Force. Through its sleek design, Bluetooth ...

  • Easy setup, New features: OLED display, altimeter, A breeze to use
  • Clunky design, Tricky wristband clasp, Bottom Line, Fitbit's latest device is hardly cheap ($129) and certainly isn't fashionable, it's the best wristband fitness tracker we've seen so far, Images: Mashable, Christina Ascani; screenshots via Fitbit

  • Comfortable to wear, Tracks activity and sleep, OLED a helpful motivator, Altimeter for stairs tracking
  • 10,000 reports of skin rashes, Annoying clasp, Proprietary charger, Sleep tracking is inaccurate
  • These drawbacks pale in comparison to the benefits that can be achieved by being motivated by Fitbit Force - no pain, no gain. The Force is still strong with this one, at least until iWatch or Google Gem take activity tracking to the next level....

  • This is where it gets weird. I'm a Jawbone Up user and I love the damn thing. It looks good, feels good, works well in terms of software integration and it partners with a lot of other services I already use like MyFitnessPal and Runkeeper. Having said al...

  • A few weeks ago I blogged about getting my first fitness band and how it was going to be the Fitbit Force. In short, I got it and it's an amazing gadget that acts as both a watch and a fitness band! I did a lot of research before diving in for a purchase ...
