  • Abstract:  The R2000 has an attractive appearance, is both well designed and constructed, operates smoothly and quietly and, quite simply, is totally consistent with Epson's reputation for all round quality. Epson is well known for making printers for just about eve...

  • Excellent print quality, Up to A3+ sizes and roll paper support
  • No roll cutter, Inks are expensive (although not for a photo printer)
  • Epson's Stylus Photo R2000 is capable of handling the needs of photography enthusiasts who want to print their digital images in A3 or A3+ sizes. The roll paper feed means panorama printing is a breeze (although there's no automatic cutter to ensure maxim...

  • It's difficult to make 'buy/don't buy' recommendations for this printer because, although it does some things well and offers some facilities that photo enthusiasts may want or require, there are only two features that set it above the model it replaces: ...

  • Prints up to 13x19, Eight color inks provide wide color gamut, Roll paper capability at a reasonable price, Excellent media-handling options
  • Some of our test prints were noticeably light
  • If you're finding even the more advanced home photo printers are a bit lacking, the Epson Stylus Photo R2000 is a good step-up into the more advanced capabilities that a prosumer printer offers. The eight colors of inks provide a wider color gamut than ...

  • High-quality photo prints, Three different paper feeds, Wireless connection
  • No memory card slots or LCD, Poor plain paper print speed, Wireless setup requires USB connection
  • Epson makes few claims for the speed of this printer, other than producing 1.72 A3 pages per minute. We don't know what Epson printed to produce this figure, but the full bleed A3 page we printed took 3:56, which is about 0.25ppm. We're still quite impres...
