  • Lovely to look at, more than enough power, superb screen, great keyboard and trackpad, built incredibly well
  • A total of three ports is not enough, quite expensive, battery life could be better
  • The Dell is aimed at the heart, not the head. No right-thinking person would consider that two USB ports is enough for a modern laptop, but it somehow works anyway. For an ultra-portable laptop, it makes sense to ignore everything but the size, shape a...

  • Attractive design, Solidly built chassis, Comfortable keyboard, Face recognition login
  • Standardresolution screen, Limited vertical viewing angles, No Ethernet port, No fingerprint reader
  • The Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook looks stunning, and has a good keyboard. However it's short on ports and connectors, and the display's resolution and vertical viewing angles could be better. This is a shame: Dell bided its time before entering the ultrabook

  • Amazing display, Compact body, Packs power
  • Average battery life (QHD+), Adaptive Brightness, Fingerprints easily
  • Obviously we didn't get to test the Dell XPS 13 out in the wild or give all of its features a thorough run-through but in our limited time with the new ultrabook we were certainly impressed. The minimal design and lack of stickers around the keyboard

  • Abstract:  Plenty of hardware manufacturers have attempted to combine the performance and productivity of a traditional computer with the light weight of an iPad and the battery life of a cellphone, but for my money, the XPS 13 is the pick of the bunch. It has a sha...

  • Abstract:  Around six years ago, I remember lusting after a carbon-fibre Sony ultraportable that weighed under a kilogram, was wafer-thin, and cost $5000. Dell’s Ultrabook XPS 13 is a much more affordable $1699, but it has many of the characteristics of that lon...
