  • We usually don’t like to recommend cases above USD 150 simply because we think this is the maximum price users must pay for a case with all the features possible. The CM Storm Trooper, however, has so many outstanding features that we think that it bri...

  • I certainly have been a fan of the CM Storm series. Simple yet flexible has been their hallmark. What started with the Enforcer has grown up a little bit into the Trooper. [Image 4044]The one area that bothered me about the case was the reduction in ...

  • To begin one of the best reasons we like the Cooler Master Storm Trooper so much is the fact it will appeal to not only the gamers but the non-gamers as well. CM designed the Trooper to be useful towards both. The gamer can fill the case with all the ...

  • Cooler Master did an excellent job in designing the Storm Trooper for the gamer and PC enthusiast markets. Firstly, the outward appearance of the case is exceptional as it manages to nicely combine a clean look (through the side panels) with a more agg...

  • Excellent Styling, Four Fans Included, Six Position Fan Controller, LED Light Control, 2.5" SATA Dock, Stacker Style Drive Bays, Modular HDD Rack, Nine Expansion Slots, XL-ATX Support, Carrying Handle
  • Would like heavier gauge wire on fan controller, LED light control for 3 fans only, 200mm fan has no LEDs
  • Gaming cases mean different things to people. In the past a gaming case could have been any mid-tower design that was modded for better cooling. Full-tower designs of the time didn't improve things since they often required the same cooling mods and...

  • Fully painted interior, Dozens (yes, dozens) of drive mounts, Good cable management, Twin steel carry handles, Dual radiator support, Integrated fan controllers,
  • No USB 3.0>USB 2.0 adapter cable, Cannot mount hard drives sideways with fronttoback ventilation, Power light doesn't connect to motherboard header

  • Great look and high quality, Handle bar for portability, Supports XL-ATX motherboards (9 expansion slots), Most of the Installation is Tool-less, Internal USB 3.0 connector, Fan Controller and LED On/Off button, Lots of options for customization, Great cable management, and plenty of space to work inside the case, 120mm, 240mm, 360mm, and 480mm radiator support.
  • Motherboard hard to install, standoffs slightly off on motherboard tray.
  • The Cooler Master Storm Trooper is a pleasure to work with. It's a very solid and high quality case, and it provides options that only $200+ cases provide in this category of cases. We can definitely see lots of creative water cooling setups and moddi...

  • Abstract:  Carrying a hardcore gaming rig from LAN to LAN is not for the faint-hearted, and we have seen entire PCI-E ports ripped from the motherboard thanks to an accidental drop. A rig with a built-in carry handle is the mark of a dedicated gamer willing to tr...

  • From every angle, every view, Cooler Master has something interesting to offer with the Storm Trooper full tower chassis. No matter how much I wrote as we went through the images, it seemed I was always cutting myself short in the explanations or fu...
